Tinker Lab is offered as a monthly stay and play session for ages 6 and under where parents stay and remain responsible for their children. There is a focus on interest-led free play and light-touch, optional stimulus activities.
These sessions are a great opportunity to meet and connect with other children at the start of their home educating journeys and begin to build friendships. Tinker Lab is led by Sarah who successfully created warm and welcoming weekly Tinker Lab sessions during the pilot year.
In between these monthly sessions, parents and children are encouraged to use to the Tinker Lab Whatsapp group to connect, share interests and ideas and arrange meet ups e.g. at the park opposite Tinker Lab’s venue on Mondays where there’s a good chance of connecting with other home educating families using the park before and after Spark Base too.
When and Where?
Sessions are monthly during term time (dates and times TBC) at Springstead Community Living Room, Cambridge, CB4 3FT

You must have booked and attended a trial to be eligible to renew.
