It's that spooky time of year! Young people ages 6-16 are invited to come and join us for a spooky drama workshop involving sound effects, story-telling and characters. Learn how to build the tension, make an audience jump and maybe even make them laugh, with some dramatic techniques suitable for the season.
All fun and no fear! No performance for invited audience at the end, just lots of good fun in the session for the group attending.
This is a Deep Dive workshop—part of the Waymakers model where children choose learning experiences based on their interests. Expect creativity, teamwork, problem-solving, storytelling and plenty of opportunities to follow your own path through the project.
Who?
Led by much-loved local drama teacher and Waymakers facilitator Barry Evans, who has been running drama workshops for home educated children in Cambridge for over 20 years.
Ages 6–16 (please get in touch if your child falls outside this age range). Teens may particularly like to take on roles supporting younger ones. Do also ask if you’d benefit from a sibling discount.
This is a drop-off workshop. Parents are welcome to stay nearby or join in as needed. Please be aware if minimum numbers are not reached, we may need to cancel.
