Spark Base: co-creating a new group - 24 August 2026, CB1 3FT

£0.00

Spark Base will be a new drop-off session from September designed for learners aged approximately 6–10 who are ready to explore more independently.

Be in it from the ground up by joining us for a trial session at which your children can help plan and co-create this new group. If they need you to stay with them a while on the day, that’s fine too - you can assess on the day.

The group will provide a gentle bridge between open-ended play and the more sustained project-based learning of Curiosity Hub.

Sessions will combine hands-on exploration, creative challenges, collaborative activities and opportunities for learners to develop their own ideas and interests. Participants are encouraged to ask questions, experiment, solve problems and work alongside others, with support from facilitators to help them build confidence, independence and a growing sense of ownership over their learning.

Spark Base offers a balance of structure and flexibility, providing space for children to explore new skills, develop friendships and discover what excites them, while laying the foundations for deeper project-based learning in the future.

A space where curiosity sparks ideas, confidence grows and young learners begin to shape their own learning journeys.

Spark Base sessions are led by Lead Facilitator Mihal, assisted by a trained Parent Support Facilitator.

These are drop-off sessions. However, parents are welcome to come in to support settling in as needed.

When and Where?

This trial sessions take place on Monday 24 August from 10am to 2pm at Springstead Community Living Room, Cherry Hinton, Cambridge CB1 3FT
