Tinker Lab returns!
Tinker Lab returned last week with a gorgeous array of autumnal activities including making seed spinners, conker marble runs, cinnamon playdough and a small world farm to harvest mini pumpkins - all lovingly prepared by much-loved Tinker Lan Lead Facilitator, Sarah.
Tinker Lab is running as monthly stay and play session this year with a new family ticket available to help with costs for those with larger families. It runs on the first Friday of each month during Waymakers term dates, which are always available to check on the calendar at the bottom of the homepage of the website.
Tinker Lab is such a warm and welcoming way into the home ed community for those just starting out as well as a familiar space for those who perhaps want a sense of belonging and community without the commitment of weekly drop offs just yet. It’s a chance for children and parents/carers to come together, feel part of something and be heard! Sarah will embrace and respond to the interests of the children attending and creates a wonderful space where they can safely explore as they wish with as much or as little input from their own parents/carers as they like, alongside their peers. Meanwhile, parents can grab a cuppa from the kitchen and hang out in a cosy community living room space and garden. Interests emerging at Tinker Lab will inform future Tinker Lab sessions Deep Dives.
You can book onto any of the dates, any time and get a lovely treat booked into your diary!
