Deep Dive Potters

Carly's first Waymakers Deep Dive pottery sessions were a huge success today - lots of amazing creations and sensory, mindful fun with clay. We had three sessions to meet as many needs as possible - a stay and play style under 5s session, a drop off session for older ones and a SEND session.

Carly will now bisque fire the pieces the children created in her kiln and then they can be collected for decorating with acrylic paint at home or there will be an opportunity for a glazing session. Lots of lovely feedback received. We're not surprised! Our own children love Carly's sessions - they were busy today so didn't attend themselves but are looking forward to future sessions.

It's new territory for us organising stuff we/our own children don't necessarily attend but loving that we can facilitate introducing more children to amazing people like Carly!
