What to expect and bring
GCSE English will take place at the Meadows Community Centre in room 3 on Mondays 10.30-12 and led by Charlotte Andrews. Please feel free to send your child with a water bottle and snacks as there will likely be a short break half way through. They are also welcome to bring a healthy packed lunch for after class which can be consumed in the foyer area. There is also an onsite cafe (currently closed temporarily but refreshments still available in the foyer). Stationery and mini white boards will be provided but participants are welcome to bring their own preferred pens/pencils they are most comfortable writing with. Please make sure you keep an eye on the Whatsapp group in case anything else needs to be brought in each week.
Charlotte is DBS checked and safeguarding trained and will have access to everyone's emergency contacts. Everyone is asked to re-familiarise themselves with the shared agreement which they were asked to consent to when booking. Please ensure Charlotte has sight of you at pick up time. Below are some photos of the venue for anyone who is not already familiar with it and would like to see what it looks like in advance. It looks a bit corporate but there's a lovely home ed vibe there on Mondays with other home education groups happening on the same day.
